The sequel to 'Beetlejuice' ('Beetlejuice', 1988) is closer than ever. This has been assured the director of the original, Tim Burton, one of the recent interviews he has given for the premiere of his latest work, 'Big Eyes' (December 25 in Spain).
After a slow gestation process, the draft 'Beetlejuice 2' is finally on track with three of the main architects of the first film already on board. Burton acb says he is delighted with the script you have written acb Seth Grahame-Smith and confirmed that revert to the staging. Not only that, the director has revealed that will have at least two of the protagonists of the original: Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder.
For now that's all, no dates for the start of filming and the premiere but I imagine that fans of 'Beetlejuice' who wanted a sequel acb expect much lighter the appearance of novelties.
